I write to keep the account myself. Black Ledger is where I do it — a house for essays, books, and the ideas I want to survive the day that produced them.
My subjects circle a few fixed points: attention and how it is spent, the craft of writing with restraint, and the design of pages a reader does not want to leave. I am less interested in being timely than in being worth reading later.
Why publish this way
I wanted a platform I fully own and control — one that answers to readers and to the work, not to a feed or an algorithm. Everything here is built to load fast, read cleanly, and last. If you value the same things, we will get along.
